Ochre Season is now live in DOFUS Touch, and this time the official information arrived split across several posts. One set the overall tone, another focused on the DOFUS Touch side, and another explained the errands. The point of this page is to bring all three together so you can quickly see what matters and what is worth doing first.
The central theme is very clear: memory, legacy and nostalgia. That makes sense because it lands right in the middle of Ankama's anniversary period and also overlaps with the 10th anniversary of DOFUS Touch, which becomes a major part of the whole seasonal block.
What this season is really about
After the more aggressive tempo of Purple Season, this one slows things down a little and looks in a different direction. The idea is to look back at the Krosmoz, revisit older memories, and place players inside a season with a lot of nods to historical game content.
That also explains why DOFUS Touch's 10th anniversary fits so well here. It is not just another excuse to hand out rewards: the whole season is built around memory, shared history and celebration of what the community has already lived through.
On top of that, the opening overlaps with Ankama Convention at Japan Expo, running from July 9 to July 12. In other words, one big event starts almost on top of the other.
The errands that drive the season
If you prefer the practical side first, this is the key section. To move the seasonal progress inside DOFUS Touch, there are three main errands you should keep in mind from the start.
1. The Legend of the Ochre Dofus
This mission pushes you into the narrative side of the season and everything surrounding the Ochre Dofus and Terrakourial.
2. Silf the Greater Soft Oak
You need to beat it in its dungeon. The useful reminder is that its mechanics revolve around AP, so the first step is to make it vulnerable properly.
3. Secret Laboratory of Amakna Castle
You must defeat Bulbig Broder, Master Pandore and Daigoro in a single fight inside the special laboratory.
Nostalgia angle
That third errand brings back monsters many newer players may barely recognize, especially if they started after 2020. That is exactly why it fits the season so well.
One especially useful reminder concerns Silf the Greater Soft Oak: the official post points you to the Soft Oak dungeon at [-51,9]. That saves a good amount of time if you want to solve that step without hunting for the entrance first.
How Ochre tokens work
Every time you progress through seasonal challenges, you earn Ochre tokens. After that, you spend them through Ankama Launcher or the Krosmoz app to roll on the seasonal lottery.
Two details matter here. First, the first free token was already waiting from the start. Second, the system adds a safety net so luck does not feel too brutal: for every block of 5 draws, you are guaranteed at least one exceptional result, meaning rare, epic or legendary.
They also confirmed that tokens from this season can be saved for a future season if you do not want to spend them right away. That is genuinely useful for players who prefer to manage their draws more carefully.
Rewards and the seasonal lottery
In DOFUS Touch, seasonal rewards are split by rarity with their percentages already published.
- Common (70%): the Protective Bark cape, a Mystery Shigekax Box, and reduced seasonal tokens from older seasons such as Emerald, Turquoise and Purple.
- Rare (20%): the Cups of Fate headgear, the Earth Fault shield, and also a Shigekax Box.
- Epic (8.5%): the pet Terraku and a Shigekax Box.
- Legendary (1.5%): the full Ochre Season set and a Shigekax Box.
The more you play and the more tokens you spend, the more chances you get at something worthwhile. And if you also follow other Ankama games, the lottery is not limited to DOFUS Touch alone.
Grand Fortune and premium tokens
Another major point in these posts is Grand Fortune. Every time you spend 5 seasonal tokens, you gain 1 ticket for the final draw. Those tickets are not consumed, so the goal is simply to accumulate as many as possible.
The top prize for Ochre Season is pretty unusual: your character could be featured in volume 5 of La Grande Vague, and the reward pool also includes the complete DOFUS and Radiant manga collections. Ankama's general season post also explains that there will be six winners among players who earned at least one ticket during the season.
On top of that, there are premium tokens, which can be obtained at live events or through special shop offers. Those tokens always grant legendary rewards and also count toward Grand Fortune tickets.
Final bonus and what to do now
To close things out, they added one last bonus that can be genuinely useful: the Giant Kralove lair will stay exceptionally open until Tuesday, August 18 at 08:00 Paris time. That is more access than usual, so it is worth remembering if you were planning around that objective.
So if you want the practical order: claim the free token, check the seasonal errands, start with the Ochre Dofus mission or Silf if that was already on your radar, and keep the secret laboratory in sight. That is enough to get the season moving for real.
Overall, this season feels well built because it does not stop at nostalgic flavor text. There is story, there are concrete fights, there is a lottery, there is anniversary content, and there are enough rewards to keep the community engaged over the coming weeks.
