Before entering: Nelween is a short fight, but annoying if your team relies heavily on Heals or random effects. Deal clean damage and avoid playing too grouped, because several monsters hit or bother in small areas.

Room 1: Many reinforced versions of well-known monsters appear here. Ouginaks can unspell, push, and insert poisons. Scorbutes remove characteristics and also annoy with poison.

Room 2: There is no new mechanics, but there is an accumulation of annoyances. Take down whatever is unspewing or poisoning your team first. If you leave everything alive, the room becomes slower than necessary.

Boss: What is Nelween doing?: Nelween applies a status from the start of combat. If you Heals to an ally, that ally can lose AP or MP, and random effects are also minimized. He can also remove AP, lower resistances, steal life, and put spell redirect on his allies.

How to remove vulnerability: It does not have invulnerability. The important mechanic is **not healing on auto without looking at Nelween**'s status. A poorly rolled heal can leave an ally without AP or MP just when they need to play. If you see spell knockback on an enemy, avoid hitting them with a large spell until it passes or you can manage the risk.

extra: The typical mistake is to heal by reflex. The truth is, if you go in with good damage and clear the reinforced monsters quickly, Nelween falls without much of a story. Just don't give away shifts for poorly thought out Heals.
