Strategy

1 Before entering: Kimbo is a concentration dungeon. A bad step on a glyph can kill characters even if the fight is going perfectly. Take positioning, ranged damage and decide before starting which elements you are going to use: **earth/water** or **fire/air**.
2 Room 1: The monsters in the area bother with pushes, position changes and glyphs. Be very careful with the Kaskargo: if you start your turn on its glyph, you die. Don't play fast in this room.
3 Room 2: Here it is advisable to clean calmly and save mobility resources. Avoid lining up for odd thrusts or exchanges. In Kimbo, getting moved one square can be enough to ruin your turn.
4 Boss: What is Kimbo doing?: Kimbo summons his Disciple and has enormous resistances. When you hit Kimbo with dirt or water, you set up the **odd** pattern. When you hit it with fire or air, you prepare the **even** pattern. Next, the Disciple places glyphs in a checkerboard pattern. If a player starts their turn on a glyph, they die. If Kimbo starts his turn on the correct glyph, he loses resistances on the chosen elements for 1 turn.
5 How to remove vulnerability: Kimbo does not have invulnerability as a state, but its resistances work almost the same. For lower his **ground/water** resistances, hit Kimbo with ground or water, then have him start his turn on an odd Disciple glyph. For lower **fire/air** resistances, hit Kimbo with fire or air and then have him start his turn on an even glyph of the Disciple. Be very careful: your characters should not start their turn on those glyphs. If they do, they die.
6 extra: The typical mistake is to touch Kimbo while there are still monsters alive. The truth is, if it's your first time, clean the room without hitting the boss or the Disciple. Then you calmly prepare the checkerboard and have Kimbo start on top of the correct glyph.
