Strategy

Before entering: This fight is not improvised. The Giant Kralove has huge resistances and you need to prepare the tentacles in order. Take serious positioning. Pandawa is almost mandatory to make it comfortable, because you have to place Summons and tentacles with precision.

Room 1: The Ouassingues bother with Heals, withdrawal MP, poisons and position changes. Prioritize those that heal or sacrifice allies, because they can lengthen the cleanup a lot.

Room 2: Here it is advisable to play fair and not spend key resources before the boss. Avoid letting enemies gather too close together. If Troubled Ouassingue starts healing or sacrificing, take it down as soon as possible.

Boss: What is Giant Kralove doing?: The Kralove has 900% resistances in all elements. It doesn't move and you can't stick to its adjacent squares, but its spells require line of sight. You can also put Heaviness, unspell, put poisons and boost yourself. The important thing is that it summons a tentacle depending on the element you hit it with: - water: Quaternary Tentacle. - fire: Tertiary Tentacle. - earth: Secondary Tentacle. - air: Primary Tentacle.

How to remove vulnerability: For remove its resistances, you must make it summon the 4 tentacles and activate its actions in the same cycle. The classic sequence is: 1. Turn 1: Hit the Kralove with water to set up the Quaternary. 2. Turn 2: Strike with fire to prepare the Tertiary. 3. Turn 3: hit with earth to prepare the Secondary. 4. Turn 4: Strike with air to prepare the Primary. Then it's time to place the Primary to kill a summon, and get the Secondary, Tertiary and Quaternary to hit melee. Range next turn, Kralove is vulnerable for 1 turn. If you do it wrong, you don't lose resistance and the tentacles can start killing characters.
