Strategy

1 Before entering: The Kolosso hits very hard if it hits you, so the main plan is to keep it away. Take retreat MP, Summons and classes that can control distance. Enutrof, Sadida, Cra, Sram or anything that blocks and bothers helps a lot.
2 Room 1: The monsters in this area hit hard and several punish melee. Try to control MP and not give away inline or pasted characters unnecessarily.
3 Room 2: The fight starts to get more serious if you let the monsters all arrive together. Take down the most annoying ones first and save resources to control Kolosso in the final room.
4 Boss: What is Kolosso doing?: The Kolosso starts out invulnerable. It only hits melee, but when it hits it can do massive damage in a cone shape. He can also attract and heal allies, so if you leave him near the monsters, the fight can drag on for a long time. The Professor Xa accompanies the fight and is quite annoying with malus from Heals, retirement AP and resurrections.
5 How to remove vulnerability: For remove invulnerability from Kolosso, **a summon must damage him**. When hit by a summon, Kolosso is vulnerable for 1 full turn. That is why it is very useful to carry Summons that are easy to place or control. The idea is to keep Kolosso away, summon something that can hit him and take advantage of that turn to damage him.
6 extra: Don't try to tank Kolosso like it's nothing. If you get into melee, you can wipe out characters very quickly. The fight usually goes better if you control monsters first, keep Kolosso low on MP, and use Summons to open up their damage turns.
